Tulum is a small town located near Playa del Carmen. Tulum is famous for its Mayan ruins. A beautiful beach with white sand stretches along the sea. You can live in Tulum itself, or you can just come there for a day from Playa. The road by public transport takes no more than an hour.

Way to get to Tulum

To get to Tulum, you will most likely want to fly to Cancun Airport, which is closest to the city. From there, you can take a bus to the central bus station in the city center (called the “”center””). Be sure to look at the bus reader board to see where it is going.
From the central bus station, you can take a bus south on Highway 307 to Playa del Carmen and finally from there by bus to Tulum. In general, the ride shouldn’t take more than an hour and will cost less than $ 10.
